Things to do before you ship the car to Hawaii

You need to do the following before you ship the car to Hawaii
  • Do not fill up the car tank - Since gas is inflammable, it's required that the car tank be maximum quarter full. Leave behind only adequate gasoline in your gas tank to move to a service post at Hawaii. Cars with propane tanks need specialized management — call customer service (in the United States. and Canada) for exact details. If you've diesel fuel, please call customer service
  • Do not pack up Anything in the car - No personal belongings, baggage or packages can be shipped within the passenger cabin or luggage compartment. A baby car seat and spare tire with the jack are regarded to be built-in components of the car, so they can be included. You'll be required to take away anything that's not permanently mounted up or latched to the car.
  • Do not pack up small-arms or extinguishers. No small-arms, ammo of any kind or extinguishers can be shipped in the car.
  • Unplug alarms. Car alarms need to be unplugged before the car can be shipped.
  • No damaged cars. The car need to be in secure operating shape with inflated tires, operational brake system, transmission system and steerage. Every cars is going to be examined after shipping to car shipping company. If the car isn't in good operating shape, it won't be admitted for shipping to Hawaii.
  • Needed Ground Clearance. Every cars need to have six inches of ground clearance so it can be shipped to Hawaii.
